The Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG)

The Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG) supports the primary prevention services and treatment services for individuals without health insurance or other resources with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). It is used to plan and treat SUD. Grant funds are also used to provide early intervention services for Human Immunodeficiency implement and evaluate activities to prevent Virus (HIV) and Tuberculosis (TB) disease in high-risk substance users.

La Subvención en bloque para el abuso de sustancias (SABG) apoya los servicios de prevención primaria y los servicios de tratamiento para personas sin seguro médico u otros recursos con trastornos por uso de sustancias (SUD). Se utiliza para planificar y tratar el TUS. Los fondos de la subvención también se utilizan para proporcionar servicios de intervención temprana para la inmunodeficiencia humana, implementar y evaluar actividades para prevenir la enfermedad del virus (VIH) y la tuberculosis (TB) en usuarios de sustancias de alto riesgo.
