The Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG)

The Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG) supports the primary prevention services and treatment services for individuals without health insurance or other resources with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). It is used to plan and treat SUD. Grant funds are also used to provide early intervention services for Human Immunodeficiency implement and evaluate activities to prevent Virus (HIV) and Tuberculosis (TB) disease in high-risk substance users.
