Experiencing withdrawal symptoms can be one of the most frightening times of an individual’s life. Unhooked wants to eliminate the fears behind the detoxification process. Individuals will be under the close supervision of our medical and nursing staff to withdrawal the individual from all chemicals and manage any medical needs that arise during their stay. The length of the detox period will depend on the patient’s symptoms. Unhooked uses a variety of techniques to address medical needs. While detoxing, patients will also participate in mindfulness work, relapse prevention and learning how to have healthier boundaries.
